These terms apply to purchases made in the aiodo online shop at aiodo.pt. They complement the Terms and Conditions of Services; for purchases in the shop, these terms prevail. The Portuguese version prevails in case of discrepancy.
1. Seller
aiodo, Lda, VAT number PT517305909, registered office at Rua da Paz 14, 2120-062 Foros de Salvaterra, Portugal. Contact: info@aiodo.com and +351 963 644 882.
2. Customer account
- An account with a confirmed email address is required to buy. Invoices, licence keys, renewal notices and order communications are sent to that address.
- The customer is responsible for keeping the password confidential and the billing details accurate. Two-step authentication can be enabled in the customer area.
3. Products and prices
- Prices are shown excluding VAT, marked "+ VAT", and can be displayed including VAT using the shop selector. VAT is calculated at checkout according to the country, region and customer type (business or individual), and the total including VAT is always shown before the order is confirmed.
- Businesses in other EU countries with a VAT number validated in VIES are invoiced under the reverse charge. Customers outside the EU are invoiced without VAT, as provided by law.
- Offers included with a product (for example, one year of domain and hosting with a website) appear on the order and invoice at the normal price with a 100% discount.
4. Order and contract
- The order is confirmed at checkout, after accepting these terms and the Privacy Policy, and receives a number (e.g. A26-00123).
- The contract is concluded when payment is confirmed. The version of these terms accepted when ordering applies.
- An unpaid order expires within the period shown on the order page.
5. Payment and invoice
- Payment methods available for each order: Multibanco reference, MB WAY, card, PayPal, Payshop and bank transfer. Online payments are processed by the respective providers; aiodo does not receive or store card details.
- Multibanco and Payshop references are valid for the period shown. For bank transfers, payment is only confirmed once the receipt has been received and the amount checked in aiodo's account.
- The invoice-receipt is issued and emailed once payment is confirmed, and is available in the customer area.
6. Delivery and performance
- Digital products (ebooks, templates, files): available for download in the customer area as soon as payment is confirmed. Access is for the buyer's personal or business use; sharing, reselling or publishing the files is forbidden. There is a daily download limit per file.
- Licences (plugins and modules): the key is emailed and kept in the customer area. Each licence can be activated on the number of websites stated in the plan; test websites do not count. Sharing keys may lead to the licence being revoked.
- Services (websites, development, hours, maintenance): performed according to the product description and what is agreed with the customer after the purchase. Hour bundles are added to the balance in the customer area, where interventions are recorded.
- Hosting, email and domains: activated after payment. A domain is only registered or renewed once paid.
7. Right of withdrawal (consumers)
- Consumers may withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving a reason, under Portuguese Decree-Law 24/2014, by emailing info@aiodo.com. The refund is made within 14 days using the same payment method, unless otherwise agreed.
- As provided by law, the right of withdrawal does not apply to digital content not supplied on a tangible medium (ebooks, files, licences) whose supply has begun with the consumer's prior express consent and acknowledgement that the right is lost, nor to services fully performed when performance began with that consent. This consent is requested at checkout.
- If the consumer asks for a service to start during the withdrawal period and then withdraws, they pay an amount proportional to what was provided up to that date.
- Purchases made by businesses for their activity have no legal right of withdrawal, without prejudice to the satisfaction guarantee below.
8. Satisfaction guarantee
For products that show it (e.g. "15-day guarantee" on plugins and modules), the customer, business or individual, may request a refund within that period from the purchase, without giving a reason. The amount is fully refunded and the licence is revoked. The deadline is shown on each order line.
9. Subscriptions and renewals
- Services with a period (hosting, email, domains, maintenance, annual or monthly licences) renew for equal periods. aiodo sends the renewal notice and the order to pay in advance (usually 30 days for annual, 7 for monthly and 45 for domains), and reminders before the due date. A renewal paid late counts from the end of the previous period.
- Without payment, the service becomes overdue on the due date, is suspended 7 days later and ends 30 days after the due date, with prior email notice at each step. For hosting and email, ending the service means deleting the website and mailbox data; customers are advised to keep their own copies. The periods in force are those stated in the notices.
- The customer may cancel the renewal at any time in the customer area. The service remains until the end of the paid period and there are no further charges; the current period is not refunded, except under the right of withdrawal or the satisfaction guarantee.
- Renewal prices are those in the shop at the time of renewal, unless special terms were agreed in writing.
10. Refunds
Refunds are made using the same payment method (automatically for PayPal; otherwise by bank transfer to the IBAN provided by the customer) within 14 days, and a credit note is issued. Once refunded, the corresponding licences, files, hours and services are no longer available.
11. Conformity and liability
- Digital content and services sold to consumers benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity under Portuguese Decree-Law 84/2021. Any lack of conformity should be reported to info@aiodo.com.
- For sales to businesses, and to the extent permitted by law, aiodo's liability is limited to the amount paid for the product or service concerned and does not cover loss of profit or indirect damages.
12. Personal data
Personal data is processed under the Privacy and Cookie Policy. Customers can download their data from the customer area, under Profile.
13. Complaints and disputes
- Complaints can be filed in the Portuguese Electronic Complaints Book or by email to info@aiodo.com.
- aiodo, Lda is not bound by, and has not voluntarily joined, any alternative dispute resolution (ADR) body for consumer disputes. If a dispute is not resolved, we will tell the consumer, on a durable medium (such as email), which ADR body is competent for their case, as required by Portuguese Law 144/2015. The list of ADR bodies is available at www.consumidor.gov.pt. Consumers always keep the right to go to court.
- Portuguese law applies. Without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules, the courts of the district of Santarém have jurisdiction.
