Frequently asked questions

What happens when an SSL certificate expires?
Browsers show a "not secure" warning and most visitors leave immediately. Google also penalises sites without HTTPS. On the websites we host, certificates renew automatically.
Why does website speed matter?
Slow websites lose visitors and sales, and rank lower on Google, which uses speed (Core Web Vitals) as a ranking factor.
Is the score the same as PageSpeed Insights?
Yes. We use the same Google PageSpeed Insights analysis, in mobile mode. Scores can vary slightly between runs.
